After a shower this morning, I opened the medicine cabinet and realized I'd forgotten to replace my expired deodorant. I try hard to maximize the lifespan of my deodorant, scraping the plastic container across my pits to make sure every molecule of product has been applied. So there's no chance I can dig the old one out of the waste basket for one last emergency application. It's dead.
I remembered that I had purchased some of that god-awful aerosol deodorant for my step-son (the kind that's guaranteed to make chicks strip down to lingerie at just one whiff - or so the ad implies), so I dashed downstairs and poked around the kids bathroom. After a few minutes of panicky searching, I was only able to come up with a trial container of Secret baby powder scented deodorant.
Not wanting to reek all day long, I applied a thin layer of Secret under each arm.
I have NEVER applied a deodorant that's remained totally 100% potent for the entire day. As I write this, fully 14 hours or so after application, nauseatingly sweet wafts of baby powder drift from under my shirt. It's been like this all day!
Tap water would've been a better choice than this.

Shameless...
I mentioned Mozy as a remote backup solution a few posts ago (been using at businesses, too... so much nicer than tapes). Tonight I noticed that they have referral "points" which mean that if anybody does happen to click this link and sign up for Mozy, I'll get extra storage space for myself.
Just sayin'.
Just sayin'.
Help!
I can think of NOTHING to write about. Now it's turning into a "thing". Start a sentence. Delete it. Start another. Delete. And so on.
So, can somebody leave a comment with a suggestion I could write about? Anything?
